This Belgian waffle maker creates thick waffles with deep pockets for holding luscious toppings. Designed to cook waffles in less than three minutes, this efficient appliance has seven temperature settings and two browning levels, ensuring consistent results from the first batch to the last. A chime signals when waffles are done. The nonstick grid is easy to clean. 10" x 13" x 3 1/2" high and makes four 4 1/2" sq. waffles. For compact storage, it stands upright and there's a cord-wrap with plug-holder underneath. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

This waffler is clearly the creme de la creme of the waffle makers! Everything about this unit is top-of-the-line. Powered by a 1,200-watt heating element and solidly constructed of cast aluminum for evenly distributing and retaining heat, this waffle maker bakes four 4-1/2-inch waffles at once and readily releases them from grids coated with a rugged nonstick surface. A control on the front provides seven browning settings from light to dark. A red light shows when power is on, and a green light signals when the grids are properly heated to receive batter. A tone sounds when waffles are browned according to the selected setting.

This 4 Square Belgian waffle maker was the first UNO series model manufactured by VILLAWARE and was given awards in 2002 for design excellence by both the Industrial Designers Society of America and the American Culinary Institute! It was originally sold exclusively at Williams Sonoma stores but eventually became available in other kitchen outlets.
